The Schernsdorf local history centre is housed in the former village school and displays exhibits from over 650 years of local history. The exhibition provides an insight into village life in the past. A special piece is the hunting knife of the forester Wilhelm Reuter, who established the Siehdichum forester's cemetery in 1891.
