A cinematic chronicle began in 1961 with the school enrolment of the “Children of Golzow”, which provides deep insights into personal fates, dreams and challenges in 19 films and 18 individual portraits. The museum, which was redesigned in 2008, presents biographies of the protagonists, photos, documents and letters as well as the original editing tables of the filmmakers Winfried and Barbara Junge. All films are available in the museum and can be viewed or purchased. In addition, numerous rolls of unpublished material are stored here, which are still being processed for the chronicle.
