Your journey will take you back to the 16th century, when the arbour house was built as a rural residence, via its use as a guest house, village inn, harnessing station and coaching inn. You will get an insight into the work and life of farmers, craftspeople, housewives and children in the late 19th and early 20th century, through to customs and traditions that still exist in the present day. Experience history with all your senses.
