The water of Lake Ranziger See is particularly clear. The visible depth is usually about two metres. The bathing area with its wide sandy beach and shallow and sandy access area by the waterside features excellent water quality. The lake has a total size of 37 hectares and is up to 15 metres deep.

There are a big sunbathing lawn, toilets, a playground, and visitors can also play volleyball and table tennis. Parking is also available. A campsite and catering options are available nearby.

The water in the bathing area is regularly monitored by the district health authority in accordance with the Brandenburg Bathing Water Ordinance and is of excellent quality.
