If you cross Lake Straussee on the electrically operated cable ferry that is the only one of its kind in Europe, you will get to the forested shore of the lake. Follow the hiking trail along the shore in southerly direction to get to a quiet, natural bathing area. Those walking around Lake Straussee on the accessible lakeshore hiking path will pass various little bathing coves that allow for direct access to the lake.
