There are three bathing areas around Lake Störitzsee. Bathers can choose between two public bathing areas: The slightly bigger one is accessible by bike or on foot (within about 15 minutes) from the hiking car park on the L23 between Freienbrinker roundabout and the district Spreeau. The smaller of the two public bathing areas is accessed via Lake Hangelsberger Chaussee, and it is right next to the parking area outside the gates of the international children’s, youth and family camp Störitzland.

The biggest bathing area on the shore of lake Störitzsee is located inside the international children’s, youth and family camp Störitzland. Visitors are also welcome for the day. The big bathing area and sanitary facilities can be used for a small fee . The fee can be paid at the snack kiosk or at the reception. During the peak season, bathing is monitored by a lifeguard daily between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. The perfect bathing area for families is rarely crowded.

Facilities at ‘Störitzland’:
  • Parking
  • Secured non-swimmer area
  • Playgrounds, volleyball court, table tennis area
  • Snacks (drinks, ice cream, sausages, pizza, snacks)
  • Campsite
  • Toilets
