The bathing area at Lake Peetzsee is especially suited for families with young kids. Next to the sandy area there are landing stages. It is therefore also possible to access the bathing area via the water.

The natural bathing area is open to the public, it is recognised by the state of Brandenburg, and the water quality is monitored during the bathing season. There is a picnic area with tables and benches, and visitors can also use a beach volleyball court.

For those wishing to stay longer, there is a campsite just next to the bathing area. 

The bathing zone is secured with buoys, and at the weekends in summer the area is watched by lifeguards.
