Located north of Grünheide, the quarry lake is surrounded by woodlands. Visitors will find the bathing area at the quarry lake at the campsite E40 in Kagel-Finkenstein. Access to the bathing area is also possible over the water, by taking the quarry canal from Lake Möllensee. A fee applies for mooring boats.

There are toilets, showers and changing rooms at the campsite, and these can be used by visitors to the bathing area. With a beach volleyball court, table tennis tables and a playground for children, there are various recreational activities to choose from. Tasty fish dishes are served at the ‘Seeteufel’ restaurant. Drinks and snacks are available from the little shop ‘Waldmarkt’ at the campsite. The bathing area is only accessible via the campsite. Admission for visitors who are not staying at the campsite is Euro 1.00.
