Every Thursday at 1:00 p.m., a two-hour round trip with the “MS Schwielochsee” departs from the dock near Beeskow Castle. The ship, styled like a Mississippi steamboat, travels along the Spree River to Lake Leißnitz and back, offering scenic views of riverbanks and natural landscapes.

Before or after the tour, there is time to explore Beeskow’s historic old town with its medieval city wall, St. Mary’s Church and the castle complex. Built in 1992, the “MS Schwielochsee” has been in service on the Schwielochsee since 2024 and offers light onboard catering.

The Schwielochsee is Brandenburg’s largest natural lake, covering over 13 km², and is fed and drained by the Spree River.
