Our south-easternmost stop in Beeskow offers you an extraordinary experience of nature right from the very first minute. Here, the Spree flows almost untouched through the landscape in its millennia-old riverbed, and boat traffic is pleasantly quiet. Along the banks, your route is mostly flanked by dense forests and vast meadows.

  • Route highlights: Just under 40 kilometres of river take you upstream past Lake Glower, Lake Schwieloch and Lake Neuendorf to the edge of the Spreewald. If you keep to starboard before reaching the Spreewald, you’ll reach Lake Köthen via the Dahme Bypass Canal – the southernmost point of Brandenburg’s waterways accessible to motorised vessels.

  • Nature & fishing: The wildlife here is completely unspoilt – be sure to keep an eye out for beavers and bats at dusk. And for the anglers amongst you: good luck with your catch! The rafts: space for up to eight people, no licence required and equipped with a weather-protected cabin.
