The Movieland cinema has been the family cinema serving Erkner and the surrounding area since 1996. Its two auditoriums offer a mixture of current box office hits and sophisticated films: one of them is equipped with state-of-the-art cinematic technology (Dolby 3D).

Every Monday at 2 p.m. the FilmCafé is held, with coffee and cake: this may feature old classics or interesting new productions.

The breakfast matinee also enjoys great popularity. On selected Sundays, live recordings of top-class opera and ballet performances from London's Royal Opera House are shown in the main auditorium. The ticket price includes breakfast and a glass of sparkling wine. 

Since 2019 the cinema has offered another highlight: the Erkner Satire Show. Every month, different artists bring the house down with a live cabaret show.
