Events of the most varied kind take place at the Kreiskulturhaus, including guest theatrical performances, concerts, readings, dance evenings and exhibitions. The facility is a central hub within the Oderland region, acting both as a venue for events and a meeting place. A listed structure, it was originally built in 1955 and extensively renovated in the 1990s. Featuring a characteristic neoclassical façade, it has a columned portico, a triangular gable and a large open staircase.
