Nestled in a charming landscape, it features idyllic hiking routes and national cycle paths through pristine countryside. A manually operated ferry connects the towns of Leissnitz and Ranzig, which is of particular interest to cyclists as it considerably shortens the route around Lake Schwielochsee and allows them to take a well-deserved break.

The Schlaubetal nature park with its wild beauty and a great many plant and animal species is a wonderful experience for anyone seeking rest and relaxation.

As you cycle along the Spree river and the beautiful Lake Schwielochsee you will pass many smaller lakes and have plenty opportunity to relax and enjoy the facilities for active holidaymakers for families with children.

Beautiful bathing areas, marinas and secluded little rest and bathing facilities means your stay can be organised precisely tailored to your wishes.

Follow the wonderful waterways and take a deep breath.
