Neuzelle - a Bohemian oasis in Brandenburg. Some 750 years ago, Henry the Exalted, Margrave of Meissen, donated a monastery to the Cistercians in Neuzelle. It is the only Cistercian monastery in Brandenburg that is fully preserved and the largest baroque monument in eastern and northern Germany.

The historic monastery complex of Neuzelle is also home to Neuzelle's visitor information centre. Today the friendly team of the Neuzelle visitor information centre provide you with advice and information in the same place where 200 years ago Cistercian monks walked along the cloister.

The services of the Neuzelle visitor information centre:
  • Room reservation: Neuzelle municipal federation and state of Brandenburg (hotel rooms, inns, guest houses, private rooms, holiday apartments, holiday homes)
  • Group tourism services: Room reservations, guided tours of Neuzelle monastery, the museums of the region and the countryside, supporting programmes, culinary offerings
