When it comes to bicycle tours, visitors to the Spreewald region are spoilt for choice. Bicycles for men and women and e-bikes are available for rent at the reception of the campsite at Lake Briesensee. The site is a good starting point for tours around the lake, to the town Lübben or to Burg in Spreewald Forest. A tour to the village Straupitz with its sights such as the Schinkel church and the Dutch mill is also very worthwhile. Even those not used to cycling can easily take these tours, thanks to the built-in ‘tailwind’ of an e-bike.
