The route between the historic fortified town of Peitz, the Spreewald hub of Lübbenau and the former farmer citizen town of Luckau is very harmonious: the towns that have been brightened up in recent years are hardly less attractive than the landscapes that surround them. All three centres are involved in the successful consortium “Towns with historic centres”. Almost all the houses here have now been renovated, as you will see if you take a stroll through the town centres. Be sure to take plenty of time since this Spreewald tour is not physically strenuous.
