In the Spreewald, you can experience a cultural landscape that has evolved over centuries – characterised by traditional craft workshops that open their doors to visitors and offer insights into old and new techniques.

Along the way, it’s well worth stopping off at the Burg Craft Centre and the Burger Hofbrennerei, where regional craftsmanship and culinary delights go hand in hand.

At the Schlossberghof Burg, you’ll gain fascinating insights into the Spreewald Biosphere Reserve, its natural environment and the region’s traditional ways of life and economy.

The tour is always accompanied by the typical Spreewald scene: a dense network of streams, tributaries and locks, on which the characteristic Spreewald barges glide almost silently through the water.
