The Craft Trade Tour leads through the largest dispersed settlement in Germany. On this tour you will get to know the cultural landscape that has developed here over the centuries with many traditional craft trade enterprises that have opened their doors to visitors. You can visit places of interest such as the demonstration craft trade yard or Burg’s distillery, the Hofbrennerei. At the Schlossberghof in Burg you can find out about the Spreewald Biosphere Reserve – its natural environment, traditional ways of life and economic structures. This area also includes the narrow network of waterways of the Spree with its tributaries, riverways and locks as well as the typical Spreewald punts.
