The tour starts in Forst, where you should visit the Ostdeutscher Rosengarten. The next highlight is Muskauer Park with the Prince Pueckler palace. After crossing the border, you reach the Polish part of Geopark Muskauer Faltenbogen. If you wish to stop off somewhere, the villages of Winica, Gorzupia and Nowogród Bobrzański (Naumburg am Bober) with their churches are well worth seeing. Moving further on to Zielona Góra (Grünberg) you can follow the cycle path Palaces and Gardens/Pałace I ogrody or change to the train.

How to get there: Take the RE2 from Berlin central station to Cottbus. From here take the RB46 to Forst (approximately 3 hours).

Return journey: From Nowogród Bobrzanski take the R77007 (Węgliniec) to Żary. From here take the regional train REg77007 to Forst (Lausitz). From here, take the RB46 to Cottbus and then the RE2 (Wittenberge) to Berlin central station (train journey time approximately 4 hours).

On the Polish side, the tour takes you alongside roads with little traffic, some country roads, paved farm tracks and forest paths. In the urban area of Zielona Góra, the route follows cycle paths.
