From here there are great bicycle tours into the Spreewald on quiet trails. The end point is in Straupitz. There are many highlights to explore. For example, the only Dutch windmill still in operation with three different production types is along this route. Then there are the two towers of the Schinkel church which are visible from a long distance, as well as a granary located nearby. Cyclists can now choose for themselves how they wish to explore the Hochspreewald.

How to get there:                    By car, bicycle or public transport: Bus 509, 508, 519

Return journey:                       By bike back to the car, public transport: 509, 508, 500

Route:                                    Goyatz – Leichhardt Trail to Mochow – bicycle road to Waldow – Lassow – Straupitz

  • Schinkel church in Straupitz
  • Dutch windmill in Straupitz
  • Granary in Straupitz
