This cycle tour leads around the northern part of the post-mining landscape near Schlabendorf. The goldeneye, which adorns the waymark, can be spotted on the lakes if you are lucky.

There are beautiful views and resting places on the shores of the large lakes: Lake Lichtenau near Lichtenau is very quiet, the lively Vogelinsel is in sight on the western shore of Lake Stoßdorf and you can dine with a view of the water at Lake Hindenberg.

Possible starting points for the circular tour are the (parking) area near Zinnitz or Hindenberg (campsite). The train station in Lübbenau and the Heinz Sielmann Nature Experience Center in Wanninchen are also nearby.

Extension option: This tour can be easily combined with the Wiedehopfweg, the cycle tour around Schlabendorf-Süd.

Starting point: Square near Zinnitz or Beuchow or Hindenberg

Route: Zinnitz - Lichtenau - Groß Beuchow - Klein Radden - Hindenberg - Zinnitz

Road conditions: The tour leads along tarmac cycle paths and local roads with little traffic.

Notes: Refreshment stops are few and far between, so it is advisable to bring food and drink.

Important: The areas closed for safety reasons may not be entered!
