This bicycle tour begins and ends at Burg im Spreewald tourist information centre. The tour takes from Burg via the cycle path along the Leineweberfliess past traditional architecture and Spreewald craft trade centres in the direction of Naundorf and from there on to Vetschau (Spreewald). Here it’s a good idea to take a small detour to Ricken’s Spreewald farm shop. Continue in the direction of Stradow, through the Stradow pond landscape and over the Radduscher Kaupen with its typical Spreewald architecture. A trip to Raddusch farm shop and natural harbour is well worthwhile. Before you return to Burg, stop off at Dubkow Mühle – a former mill that houses one of the oldest restaurants in the Spreewald. Heading back, the route runs via Burg-Kolonie, where a craft trade demonstration centre and a juice press exhibition can be visited along the way. You can finish off your cycling tour at Spreewald Therme – the thermal spas in Burg.
