The 21-kilometre pond tour takes you into the world of water. Starting from the tourist information centre in the palace park in the town of Vetschau/Spreewald, you cycle past the summer bathing area in the direction of the Reptener Teiche ponds. With the adjacent Kusswig peat ditch, these landscapes form precious wetland biotopes. You also pass Lake Bischdorfer See: when flooding is complete, this is to be used for tourism. Meanwhile Lake Kahnsdorfer See is to be left in its natural state. Raddusch Naturhafen is a natural harbour situated in a quiet and idyllic spot and is the ideal starting point for a relaxing cruise. Passing Buschmühle along the Radduscher Kaupen and the pond Kossateich, you reach the 50-hectare water landscape of the Stradow ponds. Here it is definitely worth stopping off briefly to observe the numerous waterfowl. Once you arrive in Vetschau/Spreewald, you can visit the NABU White Stork Information Centre provides which details of the white stork, a typical Spreewald bird.
