Along the route, you can visit the castles, explore diverse natural landscapes, and visit museums and recreational attractions.

The tour can be planned in several stages on your own or as an organized multi-day tour, including luggage transport.

Length: 140 km (3–4 days)

Start/Finish: Cottbus (you can also begin the tour from any other town along the route)

Getting There/Leaving by Public Transportation:
  • Train: From Berlin Hauptbahnhof, take the RE2 to Cottbus (approx. 1.5 hours).
  • Direct train connections are also available in Vetschau and Lübbenau.

Cottbus Branitz Park – Lübbenau Castle Park – Luckau City and Castle Park – Fürstlich Drehna Castle Park – Calau Castle Ruins Wall Garden – Vetschau Castle Park

Trail Conditions / Route Layout: The tour follows mostly paved paths, along natural and compacted surfaces, and occasionally on dirt, gravel, and paved paths. From time to time, you’ll need to cross bridges typical of the Spreewald.
