Start/finish: Lübben (Spreewald) – opposite Schlossinsel

How to get there: take the RE2 from Berlin to Lübben (Spreewald), hourly service

Route: Schlossinsel – Schlangengraben – Kreuzspree – Mühlkeute – Nordumfluter (with the current) – Hauptspree (against the current) – Lehnigksberg – Berste – Stadtgraben – Liebesinsel – Schlossinsel

Points of interest along the route:
  • Schlossinsel
  • Lübben Palace
  • Harbour
  • Paul Gerhardt church

Level of difficulty: simple, suitable for families and beginners too

Nautical information:​

  • In the core zone of the Spreewald you may not depart from the waterways or paddle down individual riverways
  • Paddling is only allowed until 1 hour after sunset
  • Spreewald punts always have right of way
  • Observe nature conservation rules!
