Following a long garden tradition, the first federal garden show in the new federal states took place in today's Spreeauenpark in 1995. In the vicinity of the Pückler pyramids, an impressive park area was created, which represents the connection between the inner-city green and the Branitz landscape park.

Framed by time-honored oak avenues, beech forests and extensive meadows, various themed gardens, such as the perennial gardens by the water, shape the character of the park. Crisscrossed by many attractive visual axes and inviting relaxation areas, there is an oasis of relaxation here. Whether meadow landscapes, heath dunes or blooming rhododendron groves - each season has its own charm and gives the visitor the chance to discover something new in nature again and again.
