The restaurant that shares the name of the hotel, serves typical Spreewald cuisine, as well as international dishes. The menu includes, for example, ‘Spreewälder Schmalz’ (a regional lard-based speciality) and ‘Fährmannsschnitte’ (open rye bread sandwich topped with a pork steak), as well as ‘Züricher Geschnetzeltes’ (Zurich-style veal stew) and ‘Trout à la Meunière’. Seasonal dishes and other specialities are also available. Sunday lunch is prepared on a number of dates.
Guests can enjoy the food in the cosy dining area and the adjoining conservatory that is heated by an open fire. The summer terrace by the pond is open during the summer months.
