Typical specialties from the Spreewald Forest are served such as "Grützwurst" (blood sausage) with Sorbian sauerkraut or home-smoked ham. The private brewery with its shiny copper kettles all accommodated in the former barn, offers hearty meals served with freshly brewed beer. Topping off a summer evening with a good bottle of wine on a large restaurant terrace cannot be any more romantic.
