The easy way to explore the town – take a short walk to discover the streets and the history of the Spreewald town of Vetschau/Spreewald. See streets, alleyways, buildings and squares from various eras.  Some historic houses have a white-and-red information panel: these contain find important facts and figures, sometimes short anecdotes as well. The town walk begins and ends at the market square in front of Hotel Ratskeller. There is a historic town centre walk brochure with all the important information about the Vetschau buildings to be seen on two tours of different lengths. The brochure is available at the Schlossremise tourist information centre in the palace in Vetschau/Spreewald.
