Around Brandenburg's largest natural lake there are large areas of forest and meadow that are perfect for mushroom picking. The latter are to be found not just in autumn: seasonal mushroom species exist too, and sometimes weather conditions can result in unexpected mushroom-picking pleasure. Some background knowledge is required, however: “Where are the mushrooms, which ones have ended up in my basket?” – Mushroom advisor Mrs. Wernick from Zaue will be more than happy to answer these and other questions.

For details, see the website: www.blp-ev.de It is also possible to contact Mrs. Wernick by phone to organise a guided tour of the local flora, whether for individuals or small groups.
