The clog workshop was established in 1909 and is currently run by the third generation. It is considered one of the last of its kind, and the unusual craft traditions make it a popular tourist destination in Spreewald Forest. A little guest house in the town Burg was opened to combine craft traditions and hospitality. Guests are welcome to linger in the little presentation workshop while enjoying a glass of wine or beer. The house features cosy rooms (refurbished in 2015) in a quiet location equipped with shower, toilet and television. Further facilities include a shared kitchen, breakfast room, barbecue area with seating, parking and a bicycle shelter. Other inns, shops, punting boat departure points and boat houses are just a few minutes’ walk away. The thermal bath SpreewaldTherme is about 1.5 kilometres away. Closed from November 4 to December 3, 2018
