The Estate is the ‘entrance’ to the internationally important Branitz garden artwork. The visitor centre accommodates service facilities, the museum shop, function rooms and the exhibition “Masters of Landscape. Prince Pückler and Carl Blechen” (starting in spring 2017). Carl Blechen (1798-1840), who was born in Cottbus, was one of the most important German landscape painters of his time. A selection of his works from the collection of the town of Cottbus will be presented there in a special exhibition.
