This thatched log cabin typical of the Spreewald houses two permanent exhibitions and a temporary special exhibition. They provide fascinating insights into the ancient and ecclesiastical history of legend-steeped Burg im Spreewald, complete with insights into the life of the local people, both past and present. Themes include domestic and agricultural life as well as traditional Sorbian-Wendish dress. At the traditional Heimatstubenfest in September, customs and history come to life in the Dreiseitenhof at the Spreehafen.
