Located very close the palace, the Marstall (“stables”) is a remarkable building that was influenced by the English Tudor style. The furnishings – extremely lavish for a stable with a finely wrought wooden ceiling design and blue and gold paintings – revealed Pückler's special relationship with fine horses. Today the Marstall hosts alternating special exhibitions.

Pücklerticket & Pücklerlinie

Pückler Line 10 starts at the central station and follows a circular route to Branitz, passing numerous Cottbus sights. The Pückler ticket (day ticket) not only gives you use of the complete public transport system in the Cottbus city area, it also includes various discounts (e.g. at the Branitz museums, zoo, park railway, public guided tours).

The Pückler ticket is equivalent to a day ticket for the Cottbus AB tariff zone. It is available at the Cottbusverkehr customer centres in the city promenade and at the railway station, at ticket machines, from bus drivers and at CottbusService.
