Rampe 6 is located in the Lieberose terminal moraine wilderness area on a former military training area directly on the Leichhardt Trail. It is a detailed replica of a wooden loading ramp with a carriage. While it is one of many ramps located on the small railway line between Byhlen and Lieberose, the others are only rudimentary.
Rampe 6 was refurbished by a dedicated forester. Loading ramp were mainly used to transport pressed telegraph poles, wood, gravel and tar products; next to this one there is a foam model of a charcoal kiln. Kilns of this kind were filled in the settlement at Lake Teerofensee and charcoal was produced which was also loaded at Rampe 6. The tar products were also manufactured in the settlement.
At Rampe 6 there is an Alemannic hut, too – also available as overnight accommodation or as a resting place for cyclists, hikers and riders. It is sometimes used as an event location for nature lovers.
