The mill in the north of the city is one of the few remaining river mills in eastern Germany. The current appearance, including technical equipment, goes back to extensive repairs in the first half of the 1980s and the simultaneous modification of the weir. The building, i.e. the building structure, which is still preserved today and was extensively restored in 2013, mainly dates from the first half of the 19th century. The excursion restaurant "Spreewehrmühle" is in the immediate vicinity.
