A local newspaper once called the bathing area in Jessern a “Baltic Sea beach at Lake Kleiner Schwielochsee”. Here, visitors can enjoy light-coloured sand and a picturesque view across the lake towards the south to Goyatz. The bathing area offers a water slide and a bathing platform as well as a sunbathing lawn with seating. A designated area for non-swimmers also allows small guests to splash around.

There is a boat rental service as well, so visitors can enjoy an eventful day on the water. Pedal boats are also available. Bathroom facilities and parking are to be found in the immediate vicinity and a restaurant offers catering with a Mediterranean touch.

The water in the bathing area is regularly monitored by the district health authority in accordance with the Brandenburg Bathing Water Ordinance and is of excellent quality.
