In the immediate vicinity of the village square of Goyatz lies this natural bathing area with its beautiful, long sunbathing lawn on the banks of Lake Kleiner Schielochsee. The bathing area has seating and also bathroom facilities which can also be used as changing rooms. A volleyball court enables you to engage in sporting activity before or after swimming. Children can let off steam on the playground. Parking is available and there is a restaurant in the immediate vicinity.

A memorial stele at the bathing area commemorates the Australia researcher Ludwig Leichhardt and a panel provides information on his biography.

The water in the bathing area is regularly monitored by the district health authority in accordance with the Brandenburg Bathing Water Ordinance and is of excellent quality.
