The Spreewald landscape is unique within Europe. A cultivated river landscape with a network of about 970 kilometres of riverways, it attracts countless visitors every year. From many places it is possible to set off on traditional punt tours through the aquatic labyrinth. Numerous small island farmsteads are connected in this “rural Venice” by waterways of all sizes. Customs and handicrafts of a bygone era are brought back to life in the 200-year-old houses here. Enjoy a varied circuit tour through the Spreewald with its rivers, bridges, meadows and forests.
