Lieberose is situated centrally between the heathlands Lieberoser Heide, Schlaubetal Valley, Lake Schwielochsee and Spreewald Forest. The town is also home to one of Brandenburg’s biggest baroque castles. The historic drying building ‘Darre’ is part of the castle complex. A museum and the tourist information centre are located in the converted building.

Visitors can get information about the town Lieberose here, as well as advice regarding activities in the town and the surrounding region. Accommodation services are also available by request, as well as arrangements for an exciting stay. Visitors can also buy postcards, hiking maps and books about the region.

By the way, the ‘Darre’ was used in the past, to dry pine cones from the surrounding forests in order to harvest their seeds.
