Nature enthusiasts can explore one of Brandenburg's most primordial territories while navigating the waters around Templin and Lychen by boat. The curvy Havel River leads you past mystical islands and pristine forests. Attentive explorers may even spot a beaver or otter in the rustling reef. The low current allows beginners and families to easily navigate the waters. The Lindenhof stud farm in Templin is a great starting point for travellers who bring their own boat. The farm has a rest area for travellers, guest rooms, a hey hotel, as well as pitches for campers. In addition, the farm provides a shuttle for canoes. The boat portage required from Lake Netzow to Lake Platkowsee can thus be made conveniently at the beginning of your boat tour. Other possible starting points are Lychen and Templin. The tour ends in Fürstenberg/Havel.
