The granite church in Dauer dates back to the 13th century. The steeple has a square shape and a spire from 1738. The retable is from the first half of the 18th century. The wooden pulpit, as well as the pastor’s, patronage’s and congregation pews were also created around 1700. The single keyboard organ by the instrument maker Barnim Grüneberg from Stettin was made in 1872. The oldest piece of equipment is a bronze bell from around 1300 that is thought to have come to Dauer from the church of neighbouring Göritz in the 18th century. The friends’ association of the Dauer village church was established a few years ago, to promote the required refurbishment measures for the church.
