The cultural chapel with its medieval steeple is located in Stolpe’s idyllic village cemetery at the foot of the castle hill. From here visitors can enjoy great views of the Oder landscape and the German-Polish Lower Oder Valley National Park.

The historic cemetery chapel is a treasure that was neglected for a long time and was brought back to life by the KulturKapelle Stolpe|Oder e.V. association. The association’s goal is to restore the chapel to its original state, in line with its status as a listed building. The beautiful chapel is used for religious and cultural purposes.

It is a venue for weddings, funerals and baptisms. The building is also used for cultural events: Concerts, exhibitions, film screenings and readings take place on a regular basis.
