The Naturfärbe-Atelier studio aims to be eco-friendly and sustainable. The dyes and required energy all come from renewable resources. Non-toxic chemicals are used for dyeing and staining. This makes the products suitable for people with sensitivities or allergies.

In the summer months, the Naturfärbe-Atelier studio hosts natural dyeing workshops. The workshops are held on Ms Jänisch-Martens' farm in a rural atmosphere. In addition to teaching the process of dyeing, they are also designed to convey a feel for dyes and their effects.
