Seeds, potatoes. Seed prices (unless indicated otherwise): Euro 2.50 per sachet, and for VERN members: Euro 2 per sachet. The seeds can be ordered by mail, fax or email. It is now also possible to order seeds via this form: . During the opening hours, the seeds and seedlings can also be collected directly at the association premises in Greiffenberg.

VERN e.V. cultivates old and endangered crop, vegetable and decorative plants in the show and reproduction garden.

Surplus seeds are available to garden enthusiasts and amateur gardeners. The seed potato season starts in spring, from the end of March. Rare and unusual potato varieties (organic seed potatoes) are available on seed potato day (late March/early April).

Tomato seedlings and other organic seedlings are available from May 1.

Visit our show and reproduction garden in Greiffenberg to experience the great variety of vegetables, grains, herbs and decorative plants, and to learn about conserving and growing old and rare crops. We reproduce seeds of hundreds of species every year. As a non-profit organisation, we have been dedicated to conserving and distributing old and rare crop plants since 1996.

We are happy to give advice to all visitors, after their tour of the garden.

Activities: Guided garden tours by request, courses, seminars and workshops about seeds.

The seminar building featuring a black kitchen is due to open in 2020.

May 1: Tomatentag & Hofmarkt (tomato day & market)

Mid-August: Summer festival with tomato exhibition and tasting
