Lake Oberpfuhl is a natural lake near Lychen in the Uckermark Lakes nature park. The lake covers 65 hectares and is fairly shallow, with an average depth of 8 metres.

The eastern bank is part of a nature conservation area. It contains the Oberpfuhl moor, a beautifully unspoilt marshland biotope.

Motor boats are not allowed on the lake. However, rowing boats can be rented locally for fishing purposes.

Maximum depth: 8 metres

Main types of fish: Pike, zander, perch, carp, tench and many types of whiting

Fishing authority: Uckermark Fisch GmbH (fishing permits are available here)
