The listed manor estate was designed in the style of an English landscape park and is now characterised by its old stock of trees. Its special features, namely the trees, are protected, including the cucumber trees, taxus columns, copper beech, weeping ash and tulip trees. There is even a cut-leaf beech. Some of the branches have cut leaves, some have normal beech leaves - twigs with both kinds of leaf have been discovered in the crown.
