The generously designed park landscape is in the idyllically located Welsetal valley in Görlsdorf. The park, which is approximately 100 hectares in size, was created beginning in 1830 according to an idea by Peter Joseph Lenné. After 1945, the park was left to go wild. Since 1994, the park has been gradually renovated.
