Join us on a discovery tour and get to know Angermünde’s charming historic town centre that is a protected monument. St Mary’s Church with its valuable Wagner organ, narrow little alleyways, lovingly refurbished half-timbered houses and romantic courtyards tell stories of the distant past. Learn about the donkey in front of the town hall, and why people used to refer to the pretty little town on the shore of Mündesee as “KetzerAngermünde” (heretic Angermünde). Visit the monastery church with the magazine to find out how the Franciscan monks used to live. Take a fun and possibly wet walk across the fountain on the market square and hear some amusing anecdotes about life in a small town such as Angermünde.
