The region is characterised by eventful town and village history combined with plenty of nature and diverse landscapes. I was born in the Uckermark and raised in the rural idyll of the north-western part of the region, on the border to Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. All my life, I have been actively exploring nature at any weather and time of year.
